The HTC One V now already have Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with a dose of HTC Sense 4.0, that is quite good for a few users. But, if you're not happy with the performance of the phone’s stock ROM, or want to own a Sense-less ROM, you must try installing and optimized custom ROMs to your transportable.
But, before we start how to improve the performance and appearance of our HTC One V, you will need to unlock its bootloader first, before you can flash custom ROMs. but the consequence of you doing that it will voiding your phone’s warranty and the risk of bricking your phone, unlocking your phone’s bootloader lets you flash custom ROMs and enhance your phone’s performance.

Requirements
  • Download HTC Sync and save to your pc / laptop. This file will be used for installing the USB drivers for HTC One V on the computer.
  • Download the Fastboot package here (Fastboot.zip, 404.46 kB).
  • WinRAR or 7-Zip installed on your computer.
  • Charge your phone’s battery to 70% or more.
  • Backup all your data(e.g., contacts, SMS, MMS, Internet settings, Wi-Fi passwords, and the like) in case the procedure in this guide erases such data.


Tutorial Unlock Bootloader HTC One V

  1. Download HTC Sync from the link above and install to your computer. This will be used to install the USB drivers for HTC One V.
  2. Extract Fastboot.zip to a folder on your computer(download it from the link above).
  3. Download the Fastboot package from the link above.
  4. Go to HTC Development page and make an account. Use your account to log into the site.
  5. Go to HTC’s Unlock Bootloader page.

  • Download the Unlock.code.bin and paste it into the Fastboot package folder.
  • Go back to the command prompt window and then type the command fastboot flash unlocktoken Unlock_code.bin then hit the Enter key.
  • Then Your HTC One V will get an Unlock Bootloader request. Use the Volume keys to select Yes and tap the Power button to confirm your action.
  • Then Your HTC One V will automatically reboot and perform a factory reset.
  • To confirm that your phone’s bootloader has been unlocked, reboot your phone into Bootloader Mode. Then If your unlocked process is succusfull the word UNLOCKED will be displayed on top of the menu.
Finish.. now you have succefully unlocked your HTC ONE V. then you can root your HTC, Install Custom ROM, and get many previlleges to your phone.
